This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    FREE 2nd year warranty from Asus starting tomorrow on almost all models

    From 10/7 - 12/6, Asus is running their Premium Protection Program (PPP) on all Yonah based Ensembles (except the W3j because they're sold out). So, basically, that leaves all the model series from the A7/A8/F3/V6/W2/W5/W7.

    This will only be available through certain resellers participating in the PPP and will only be good for invoices dated from tomorrow, Saturday October 7th, through December 6th.

    A lot of places, including us have low stock on all of the current models and this promotion is designed to help move that stock, obviously. However, once the current stock is gone, some of these models will still be avaialble with the promotion. However, we may need a couple extra days to ship the system as we're only going to bring them in on an order by order basis as we need room to stock all of the new systems that will be coming in.
