I recently did a clean install of Windows (same version as the OEM I had) after upgrading the HDD to a SSD (Samsung 830) and the fan is constantly revving up as soon as it hits a certain temperature (arond 48-49 celsius for the CPU) and then it slows down after 10-15 seconds. Not entirely sure if it's just the CPU temperature because I've seen it go up to 51 without starting the fan (though this is rare), might have something to do with the motherboard temperature aswell. Regardless, I don't wish the fans to spin up like this as it's entirely useless.
Now I'm fairly certain this started happening after some kind of windows update (or after using Asus Live Utility) because I did not have this issue while installing drivers nor can I remember the fan making noise at all the first day on the clean install.
Is there any fix to this? It's highly annoying because my CPU temperature seem to sit around 45-48 Celsius so it's happens ALL THE TIME.
I've tried turning of the Intel® Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Drive and it did not change anything.

That sounds EXACTLY like my ux32vd! Unfortunately I am yet to find a solution, I'll let you know if I figure anything out.

Usually the bios update to version 206 would solve this problem as it remaps the thermal policy.
