Ok first off i accidentally exited out of the nvidia desktop icon in the quick launch bar, any idea how to get that back there?
Second, whenever i try to put it into standby or hibernate it, i get an error message that says "not enough recourses to complete the API"
and this one might be related but every once in a while there's an error that comes up saying "out of memory!" now i messed around in the virtual memory thing so this might be what's wrong with these two problems, but how do i fix them?
and lastly, every once in a while i'll boot up and when i try to play music i get an error...all i have to do is reinstall the audio drivers and reboot and its fine, but its happened a few times and i'd like to stop it
TY

1) What Icon did you remove from the quick launch? I can't seem to make out what your trying to say, Either some Nvidia Icon, or the Actually Go to Desktop Icon?
2) There's a hotfix for this, try it out.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330909
3) Try the hotfix and hopefully that will fix the out of memory error too.
4) I believe i have seen someone else complaining about this, you may want to look for updated drivers or even a bios update. That may help this situation.

I have posted the solution for this a few days, I will look for that thread and post the link here too, once I find it. -

Ok the hotfix appears to be working, ill try to hibernate tonight...
In the right bottom corner of the screen on the task bar nVidia has their own little shortcut that does mostly everything...on accident i clicked on it and exited it, i have found no way of getting it back, I've gone to the control panel and searched, but to no success. TY for the hotfix -

2 Ways to get the exe your looking for, find the program in your computer, use the search function, or use start -> program files -> and find it there, or use my computer and it should be in your C Drive.
The other way is to find another G1 owner here willing to email or send it to you Via MSN, it is only a 1KB file, takes 1 second to get it from a G1 user.
Good Luck -
after extensive search...nothing, looked in "ALL PROGRAMS" nothing that even mentions nvidia, then on C: there's a folder but its full of dlls and unrecognized stuff...a search for nvidia didnt pull anything useful up either
the control panel has the nvidia desktop thingy and it has an option "enable nView in the Windows desktop right-click menu" but its checked
lol any1 wanna send me the...well...wtf is it anyhow? [email protected] -
