Hi guys!
I'm happy to anounce that I've returned my DV2000T and picked up a W7J. It should be here this week. The DV200T was just larger than I'd like. And we can't forget about the HP scandal![]()
Anyways... anything I should do to the laptop once I get it? I'm thinking of ordering a mogo bluetooth mouse to lessen the clutter.
Excited...

congrats! hope you enjoy it when it arrives!
p.s. is that mogo mouse any good? seems more like a novelty item. -
I personally hate using the touchpad. I prefer the old eraser type but unfortunately, not many manufacturers include them anymore. So for me, I use a seperate mouse everywhere I go. To have one less thing to clutter up my bag is a big plus.
I haven't purchased it yet but I'll post a review if I do.
So for the W7J, has a solution been found for the heat in the right handrest?
Also, I was thinking of upgrading the removable memory to a 1GB RAM. I've read that the saudered one is 266MHz. Does that imply that I should purchase 266MHz memory instead of 333MHz because it will still be limited by the on board memory? -
Also another random question. What's the diff between this one and the W7F?
-
Hmmm, haven't heard of the W7f, however, according to ASUS's naming scheme, j=dedicated GPU, f=onboard GPU.

I just went to the Asus US website and see a W7F offered there. Comes in lots of flavors of CPU speed

Gosh... that sucks. Thanks for the pointer bout the mogo.
Can anyone recommend a bluetooth mouse for me then? I'd prefer one so I don't need to keep the dongle. -

I actually picked up a used model. It was almost a equal trade for my DV2000T w/ all the bells. -

Well... the laptop got delivered today but nobody was home to sign for it
Maybe tomorrow... -

His processor is also the Yonah, due to it being a used w7j. Same as yours.
Finally bought a W7J!
