Actually fixed the issue. Seems they replaced my motherboard.

They didn't bother doing a single thing extra, like replace the missing rubber feet or give the laptop a wipe down. They packaged it like crap also, shoving the battery into the slot on an angle damaging the plastic slide trays on the laptop.

Other than that, seeems they were capable of replacing a motherboard.

Total RMA time was 1 month 3 day, or 34 days. Of that, 2 days shipping there, 2 days shipping back.

Just happy to be up, hopefully this doesn't rbreak for a few years.

This message had me on going... expecting the worst then hearing they actually fixed something then hearing they still screwed things up in the packaging and battery replacement. Way to go Indy.

Seriously, this sounds like the equivalent of... I took my car in to have the tires rotated which came out fine but they keyed my car and also sprung my trunk lid.

Geez. It truly is amazing that they can fix a problem while creating a new one. Or, in some cases, not fix it and create a new one. While I'm sure you don't want the hassle of sending it back in, that damage is still worth at least complaining to someone about. That's just plain unacceptable.
