It generally depends on the game. In Doomed III (rimshot please) the architecture of the Geforce 6 series makes the Gefoce 6600GT faster but for most other games the Mobility X1600 is usually faster and equals the Radeon X800 in performance. The more shader intensive the game becomes (e.g. games like F.E.A.R or FarCry), the better the X1600 will fare against the Geforce 6600GT.

You can see a review here comparing the Mobility X1600 to various other graphic cards, including the Geforce 6600/GT, Radeon X700 and Radeon X1600 boards.

yah you guys are right about the batterylife.

Ohwell, im sure everyone that will get the W3j will be happy with it. :D

It is still prolly the most awsome 14" notebook out there.

    Thanks,

Thank for the link to the review. I might consider getting a 14" WJ3 over some other 15.4" laptops. No DVI is sad though.

The A8J will have a DVI output, however, so you might think about that. Similar specs to a W3J, though the W3J is a premium build product and the A8J isn't quite as nice, apparently. Meaning the W3J has that extra mmph to the design, build quality & materials, etc. Though the A8J is still ASUS, so the quality is still probably pretty darn good. And it's a bit cheaper than the W3J to boot, I believe.

Same resolution, same size...willing to bet same screen.

By early accounts, it looks excellent - real bright and vivid.
