Interesting, because the Eee 1025C models were all shown with glossy displays. They are late Q3 or early Q4 releases for 2011. Now if they just use matte bezels and extend the angle the hinges tilt, they could be going in the right direction.

I had to buy the Matte AUO b173hw01 v5 Matte screen for my G73.

It looks so much better with a matte screen, since the g73 chassis is all matte. IMO not all laptop should have a matte screen, multimedia types could have Glossy, but business should have matte.

i was never a fan of matte displays and i am still not. i find glossy displays brighter and more vivid so do most people but everyone is entitled to an opinion. himan perceive things very differently. if 98 out of 100 people say glossy is better but 2 people say they are worse that does not make 2 people wrong. it makes 2 people a reason for manufacturers to improve the manufacturing process which they have with new led matte displays.
