    Hello everyone!

I'm interested in buying a laptop and I really appreciate Asus design and specs. The problem is: I just can't decide which one to buy.

The screen size must be up to 14''. I'd like dedicated graphics too...C2D 2GHz, 2GB RAM, >120GB HD. Size/weight combination matters!

    Thanks in advance!

Well with your specifications you do have options.
    A8JP
    A8js
    W3J (customized to your needs)

Also what is your budget and when do you want to purchase it, there's also the V2 coming out in the future.

I'm not in a hurry and my budget is ~U$2000-2500.

Actually, I don't know if I should wait for Centrino Duo...

Thanks for you answer. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

For your budget, I'd recommend the W3J or the upcoming V2 as posted by MilestonePC.

Where can I find the V2's specs?

Do you know any other laptop up to 14.1'' with dedicated graphics?

    Thanks!

W3j is END OF LIFE! If anyone is still selling it it has a shelf life of over 4 months now.
a8js and a8jp are out and have fairly comparable graphics
If you plan on waiting around for v2 you may as well wait around for all the santarosa models, there will be plenty 14"ers available

In the =< 14.1" category you may also want to look at the W7J, a 13.3" model with nVidia go7400 GPU.

FREN, I want Asus...specifically I'd prefer a light one (up to 14''). But dedicated graphics are extremely necessary !!

If Santa Rosa is really about to come, I think I could wait a while.

Yup, all of the suggestions we have given you have dedicated graphics, do you mind telling us what will you be doing with the dedicated graphics? CAD? Gaming?

We are now nearing the end of February, and the V2 has already been released in other countries, this is a good sign, but you will have to wait for Santa Rosa to get a V2.

    Both of them, MilestonePC.com! :D

I hope Santa Rosa doesn't get here too late...

    Thanks again!
