I have my N82 to use the fingerprint reader to log into W7 Home Premium x64.

However, I am unable to use it to sign into web-sites or enter passwords into applications automatically.

Apparently, TrueSuite from Authentec is supposed to allow this, and I do have it installed, but I suspect it is a stripped down version, or did I just not turn it on or something?

Does anyone have a link for Authentec TrueSuite?

I tried Upek Protector Suite 2009 Trial and it works fine, but I don't want to have to pay $20 USD for the full version that allows > 3 web-sites configured.

My M50Vm has also Authentec FingerPrint sensor also.

I did not find anyware a full version of Authentec TrueSuite.
If there is a full version of Authentec TrueSuite, it would have been supplied by ASUS.
Except if Authentec has it and wants one to order it directly from them.
In that case it would not be free.

So apparently I ended up in buying Upek Protector Suite 2009. It works great with my Authentec sensor. :)

Thanks for the response, but according to Authentec, TrueSuite is supposed to support both Internet Explorer and Firefox:

I find it odd that Asus doesn't provide the full version.

Or is it that Authentec has wrong information on their site?

Yes, I already read that before.
The question is if this full version exists, then why don't we get it anywhere.
Maybe Authentec wanted to charge the OEMS higher amount of money for it, so they choose the basic version of it.

Many manufacturers do not supply full versions of software on their units, but rather stipped down variations - Asus is not unique in this regard. Alternatively, Asus could have licensed an older version of the software which has since been updated by the developer to include more features.

If the Authentec has updated the software afterwards and ASUS has not updated it, then maybe we should look at websites of other OEMs which use the same sensor.
Maybe we will be able to find a full version of True Suite somewhere then.
