Hi everyone, Tim at portable one told me how to fix the video playback issues I was having with my w7j. First kudos to P1, not only did they offer to sell me a customized w7j, that they normally do not stock, they are supporting it very well after the sale.

Using an external projector, I could not play videos in the dual lcd +crt mode. I saw a black screen where the movie should be.

The fix is simple you simply go to the display settings properties and under advanced, select troubleshooting. Then you need to dial down the hardware acceleration 4 notches and your videos, dvds, etc will play on a projector.

It does seem odd that you need to slow the notebook down to get it to project a video properly.
Tim also said that updating to Media player 10 did not help.

Anyway I hope this information is of use to others.
