    Fn + F1-10 keys no longer works

    the latest in my ever growing list of problems with my laptop.

    i uninstalled power4gear because it was giving me nothing but problems (already uninstalled and reinstalled many times) and now my "Fn + F8, F9, F10 etc" does not work. those are things like volume up, down, mute, change display from lcd to monitor, screen brightness up, down etc.

    why the hell would uninstalling power4gear disable these functions?

    Yeah, kinda ridiculous but maybe some shared dll files accidentally uninstalled when you removed Power4Gear.
