    Hi everyone,

I have just installed windows 7 on my g50vt x5, and i have to say... it is faster and smoother than vista, but i have a question: have you noticed an improvement in the battery life of your lap?, because I read somewhere that you should have at least a 10% of increase in the battery life. Right now Im on power saving and im only getting remaining time calculations between 2:15 to 2:30 hours, i remenber with vista i got at least 3hours on battery saving, why is this happening?, is it because windows 7 are another battery settings different from asus like is i can remember were: extreme, entertaiment and battery saving?, what can i do?

Notice the difference between the time in the opened application and the time when i put the mouse pointer over the battery icon.

    Is there a missing driver?
o and what can i do to get the battery settings media button to work again.
