Hello i was just wondering if anyone knows where I can find the latest Forceware for my Z81sp Equipped with a Geforce Go 6800 since the forceware drivers that came with my Drivers CD are quite a bit out of date (july of 05 I think)
I downloaded the latest forceware from nvidia's site and it turns out that that download the one for desktops and I cannot seem to find the forceware for the GO cards.

As you already know, This notebok has a P4 HT 6xx series so yes this chip is faster then the pentium M's and it has 64-bit support. I paied a bit extra for them to put the Arctic Silver 5 on my CPU so it can run a bit cooler.
As in terms of the heat, there is always a stedy stream of heat coming out of the vents but the notebook it's self runs pretty cool meaning that when you are going to type something, you will not burn your hands and from what I have been noticing, it does not even feel warm when i go to type after 12 hours of gamming.
The only thing that many people might not like is the weight of it since it weighs about 9.5 pounds meaning that traveling around with this thing can be a bit of a pain but I find that transporting this thing around in my hard case is a breeze. Another thing is battery life which seems to last me about an hour and a half (have not used the power4 gear yet).
My notebook came out to be $1770 with shipping for the following options........ All I got to say is this was the best bang I got for my buck
3.0GHz Intel PentiumĀ® 4 630 Processor HT
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
1,024MB (2 SODIMMS) CORSAIR DDR2/533 Dual Channel Memory
80GB Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive at 5,400 RPM
Combo Dual Layer 8x8x4x2.4x +/- DVD R/RW - 24x10x24 CD-RW Drive w/Softwares (nero)
Built-in 802.11b/g Wireless Card
Built-in Bluetooth Wireless
ASUS Hard carry case.
3yr warranty (standard/included in price)
I plan on doing a more formal review on this notebook soon(tm) but here is a review that was done by coriolis on the Z81sp. I think that coriolis's review on the Z81 makes it seem like a bad choice since he's compairing it to a Z70va

Hope this info helps you out :asus: -
What do you think of the screen on your Z81SP? Is there alot of backlight bleeding? Any ghosting or tearing?
