Hi m8s;
I'm trying to free resources on my w3v. As other Asus models, arrived from asus with a bunch of proggies running that "could" be unneeded.
Initially there are (more or less) 49 processes using 289 Mb, and I think would be an interesting place to discuss which ones are REALLY important to be running and which ones you can disable (and how) to get more free resources for other apps...
Just to start "the quest" (wow is owning me):
- wcourier.exe??? googled, but no info found... any idea?

no idea dont have that one nor ever seen that process running before.
what/where is the process located? That may shead some light on what it does.
Personally I have about the same number of processes running, I leave all the asus ones running except for chkmail, live update, and probe. Also disable acrobat, itunes etc, but leave norton on.
System seems to run pretty well and start up time is ok, so not concerned with mucking around anymore than I have too.
