    Fresh install and drivers?

    Hi!

    I am going to buy A8Jc and I will make fresh install. Now I am wondering which drivers I need for laptop. I want to get hotkeys and system drivers installed my system nothing more.. So what I should download?

    I don't think you need to download anything. All the required drivers should be available in the Driver&Utility CD provided. You can then just choose what you want to install.

    Download everything from Asus website that is recommended for your lappy.

    EDIT : Hahahahah, Darrick I just saw your answer ;)

    EDIT 2: Ok, serious now. I think you should download all drivers from website, those included on cd can be outdated (or maybe they don't but just to be sure)

    What is that SPLENDID utility? Or Game Face Application/Driver?

    EDIT: Google told me what these utilities are... so problem solved.

    Spledid utility is a software application that can adjust the quaility of color brightness and contrast and so on. Splendid is a new technology from Asus. It requires a software application to adjust the setting with four option: Normal, Gamma, Vivid, Theater, Soft, My Profile. A sticker on the front side mention this: "The exclusive ASUS Splendid Video Intelligence Technology improves image contrast, brightness, skin tone and color saturation for vivid display with true brilliance." I believe that this feature is very useful to look the pictures and photo editing.
