Humm... the roadmaps are something that is under an NDA... yet they posted it themselves. Asus is going to love that. Enjoy it while it's up.

z35a is an older model.. sonoma. (I looked up its specs this morning from an AU site.

They are a bit dissappointing but it looks like its just the custom built line, will be more interesting to see what the ensembles will be like...that seems to be where all the ASUS flare is these days!

That thread linked doesn't show anything...

Looks like they deleted the first post with the info.

The 1st post from DZ is deleted. Intel & AMD always show their road maps. I can't see why ASUS road map is a secret! Or maybe too shy to show by the resellers?

There wasn't anything there that "someone" hadn't already said in text form. I don't know what the bid deal was. Only info I learned that hasn't been explicitly said is it looks like the z62j is the exact same chasis as the F. Since the roadmap mentioned both having cameras.

Well, complaining is what a little girl does. What I did was tell Asus you posted a roadmap which is clearly under an NDA and I could have posted that months ago if I was dumb enough..... but being under an NDA means that the disclosure of that particular bit of information is grounds for a lawsuit. I don't know how things differ up there in north of the border but, here in the states we have to follow the law and breaking and NDA is not only against the law, but could potentially hurt business for Asus. Now, I've heard that you've "complained" about the information I've posted in the news thread.... however, as laughable as that it... that is all information that could be released (it's been cleared with Asus before posting)... and presented in the correct way.. and NEVER, EVER do I publicly give any detail to anything that's more then 45 days away.... You sir posted an internal roadmap which you needed to sign your life away just to see it yourself. When you took it upon yourself to copy and paste the next six months of Asus' plans for systems in North America, you put yourself at risk as well as Asus and for that matter, anyone who sells their products. So you may be think you're just proving a point but you can can hurt all of us by posting classified Asus information. Call me what you want, but we're actually a real Asus Premier Partner.... where as you like to play with words and call yourself "Canada's Premier Asus Dealer" or whatever..... I know what you're trying to do and I'm sure it fools a lot of other people, but giving out their secret information certainly isn't going to win you any awards from them, especailly that of being a legitimate "Premier Partner". -

I don't understand why somebody in the world is sooooooo sensitive and aggressive. Temper/anger control class should start from kindergarten. -
Guys, stop it.

Technically you arent supposed to show a companys road map. but no one is going to bother doing anything about it. when i worked in IT anytime IBM came to sell us whatever we would see every road map to all their products id have to sign an NDA but that info is readily available to everyone.

By bickering with each other on the forums you only damage your own reputations...not to sound like the parent, but if you must argue try and keep it between yourselves, lol. It's like a soap opera... next week on Asus Forums...

If you want to post the roadmap. Paraphrase it and post it wherever you want. Dont post the original. Tho i have to warn you. Realistically you know those dates are way off and you know those models may or may not come out. If you like to gossip then post the roadmap all you want. Asus cant do anything do you other then slap you on the wrist if they find out you posted it. Who cares really every vendor will have the same notebooks at about the safe time so talking about future models only creates anxiety. -

I'm not worried about my reputation, the people who should be concerned are those who don't have all that long under their belt and pull things like this that piss the hell out of Asus. It's an honor that everyone complains the information I give because it means I'm on the cutting edge and giving the consumer all the information they can have - when they can have it. I also understand that it makes other people feel good about themselves when they can post about something before I do. I can almost feel the sense of glee coming from those posts. It's good for you and I hope it helps your business as much as it does your self-esteem, but remember, there are somethings that I really think people need to hear and others that are really aren't worth a dedicated trip to the computer to post about. Good luck in the future.... after posting that roadmap you'll most likely find out about new stuff that's been cleared for release right here on this forum... from me.... because we all know what happens to companies who go against Asus' NDA..... One comapny inparticular comes to mind and their attempt at being first to release something go them completely shut off by Asus..... Learn from other people's mistakes and realize we're not your competition and you're not ours...... just don't open your mouth until you're ready to accept the consequences. -

Hi, Justin,
I want to clarify I am not against your posts, just as you said: "we're not your competition and you're not ours", and for the same reason, I have never complained to Asus about your posting or info disclosure, no matter through e-mail or phone or face to face, no point for me to do that, we are on different market, and your posting has no way to affect me anything, why should I complain? I don't know why you mentioned I complained you to Asus. There must be some misunderstanding.
I always think you provide good info the the public and I also learned alot from your posting, the only thing I don't like very much is your personality because I think you are too senssitive, too easy to get mad, and like a forum police always tells others what to do what not to do, but that is fine for me, we are all human being with our own personality, and it won't bother me alot bacause I am not on this forum alot.
If my comments about your personality offends you, please accept my appologize, I am sorry; if you don't care as you mentioned before, then I can have a good sleep tonight, I don't want to make anybody feel bad. -
sorry, can't see much else positive being said in this thread so think it should be closed.
