    Function "Fn" key (button)

    My "fn" button seems to be disabled. Not sure I actually did anything to cause Any thoughts?

    Install atk driver from driver cd its the one all the way on top

    Looked thru my set of CDs from when I bought. Guess I dont have the right one. Any ideas?

    On teh main driver cd. Insert it then wait for autoplay. On the menu its the one all the way on top.

    understood but dont have this CD. :( :(

    Go to www.asus.com and then support or downloads, find your model, and look for ATK10010101 <--- actually its ATK______ with '1' and '0's, :p

    Hey styopa, now that you have it working check out an old thread on the FN function key and its other SECRET functions~!

    That I DISCOVERED~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I am very proud of it. Hehehe :D

    Umm, just search FN key what is it for or something.

    i had the same problem but how i fixed it is i simply went into MSCONFIG (Start-Run) and went to the STARTUP tab and made sure HControl.exe was checked...allowing that application to run when i startup my laptop...and ever since then...ive had no problems with my function keys...hope this works for u guys....
