Hello all. I recently installed Windows 7 RC 7600 and it was a fresh install, so all of the drivers I had on Vista 64-bit were wiped out. I re-installed everything on the disc included with the laptop, but for some reason my function (and the LED touch) keys won't respond. The four keys lined up next to the power button will flash when I touch them, but nothing happens.

I've been searching for answers, but have come across nothing that works. How should I go about doing a clean driver install to get them working again? Device Manager reports that ATK0100 ACPI UTILITY is installed, under the tab "System devices" ... that's the one that causes the function keys to work, no? I don't know where I went wrong, the driver disc reports that all the drivers and programs are installed :( My WLAN switch doesn't do anything as well.

Hopefully someone on this forum can shed some light my way, I'd love to get this working.

And lastly, after Installing all this stuff, you find out that the hotkey don't work, the Fn+F11 or Fn+F12 do not work to change the volume, etc.
Don't panice! Very simple way out --> go to \Program Files(x86)\Asus\ATK Hotkey\ and find Hcontrol.exe. Run it and voila! Btw, I created a shortcut to it and placed it in Start->All programs -> Startup, so it starts every time I start the computer, otherwise you will have to start it manually.

Dude, thank you very much. You're a lifesaver :D

A couple function keys still don't respond and the WLAN can't be switched on/off... but all the touch buttons are working perfectly. I'll try and find out how to get the ones not working working again.
