I'm considering buying the a8jm, but no so sure about the battery life, and whether there are high capacity batteries like 8 or 9 cell kind for it. Anyone know?

This is a great forum, thanks for the quick responses. Another question come to mind is the HDD interface, on the A8jm it's PATA, would it be possible to modify it to support SATA in the future? and what other 13.3-14 inch asus notebooks have SATA interface?

I just asked the same question. Unfortunately, due to the placement of the battery, it is probably impossible to have a higher capacity battery.

One another note, extra batteries should be readily available from most retailers. So, if carrying around an extra battery is worth it, then there are options.

Nixit pretty much handled it, there will probrably never be an option for a higher capacity battery, due to the space constraints.
