I've never really worried about upgrading past what is available on the asus website but I've recently wanted to start fiddling with my vga drivers and I can't find anything that will actually work... I can't even use the recently released "Bioshock optimized" forceware update for some reason.

Is there something I'm missing here or can I only use the drivers from the Asus website for some ridiculous reason?

Most drivers from websites like NVidia are only for desktop cards. To use a driver on your mobile card, you need a modded inf file. You can find them at sites like laptopvideo2go.com. That site has a huge collection of drivers.
