1st of all i know computers so the direct messenger is not working because i did not turn it on or put text on it. It is on i have reinstalled direct console and looked in every forum possible.
The problem is everytime i turn my computer on it shows up perfectly as "ASUS" when it loads up windows then once im logged in, sometimes it works flawlessly for a few hours then without me noticing it blanks out completely. And i restart my computer and it does not fix it, i will need to do a complete shut down and boot it up for it to show up again.
Sometimes the OLED just blanks out completely, sometimes it becomes distorted for example if i had![]()

this on my OLED, there would be like =========== overlapping the

. Etc ETc....
Please help =_= this is already my 2nd G1, becuase my 1st one had a defective hard drive and asus sent me a new one. I had this one for a month or 2 now.
Thanks alot

Have you tried exiting the Direct Console and then start it up again?
Have you made your own icons to display on it?
I've created a few personalized icons and some of them distort the display or do funny things with it. I just delete the offending BMP and that's it.
What happens if you use the Default Settings (Clock and Notifications)?
Have you tried installing the Direct Console application from scratch?

no i do not have any customized icons, i just use the ones it comes with, but when i put it just as a clock it seems ok, but if i make it anything else it just dies on me. I also have downloaded and installed direct console again, multiple times. The funny thing is it does not get fixed by restarting my computer, it only gets fixed from a complete shutdown
