    Hiya,

This has been answered somewhere already I'm sure but I cannot find the thread despite some serious time spent searching (so apologies in advance).

My question is "How do I get the same performance from the High Performace P4G setting on battery as I get for mains?" In games like WOW the performance on DC is significantly worse than on AC which is excellent. Looking at the P4G configuration there seems to be no difference in CPU setting (both 100%). Does it do something to the GPU as well?

Here's another tiny thing while I'm typing. Using the function + F4/F5 keys (I think) to adjust the screen brightness up and down, on my G1 the key with the filled in little sun turns the brightness down, the key with the outline little sun with a black centre turns the brightness up. Odd. Not that I really care. Just thought I'd mention it.

The 'bad' performance on battery mode is due to the graphics card not the cpu. The gpu is kept slower as well when running on batteries!
In the settings of the graphics card you can set the gpu to maximum performance also for DC mode (as it is set for ac mode). But of course the battery will last much shorter if you do this!

Right, so? That's what it should do.

wouldn't the bright sun turn brightness up, and the dark sun turn it down?

Heh, seems the same way on my V1. It's a minor aesthetic thing. Without looking, it should intuitively be left to turn it down, right to turn it up.
