Ok I've had my G1 for awhile now, and I was wondering how I could keep it looking like new. I have noticed a few little scratches on the lid. I was wondering about any skins or protective covers I could put on it to keep it looking good? Also, is it bad to clean the entire laptop with lens cleaning cloths that I use to clean my glasses with? They seem to do the job well but I was getting curious. I also unscrew the back and blow out the various spaces with compressed air to remove dust. But these are all sort of "make shift" ideas I've come up with. How do you all clean your notebooks, if at all? My laptop is looking great, but I am worried about it when I take it out and put it in my book bag, as it has a vinyl laptop pouch (cloth would have been better :p ). I'm sort of obsessive compulsive about my laptop because I like it looking good and performing well, plus there is nothing to really do on a Sunday morning aside from study and clean your dorm room :D

A good amount of threads about this. Just do a search on clean notebook.
