G1 and V1 update

Just a quick update for the popular G1 and V1:

Our G1 pre-orders will be shipped no later than tomorrow, order numbers before #1380 all fulfilled, orders coming in now, will be shipped after Xmas, before the end of Dec.

BTW, we will start shipping V1J later this week, still small qty left now.

is it able to order the G1 from germany, and send it to germany by ship or plane?

we've got only a crap g1 here in mid-january... its very sad.

I would give an update xept i updated everyone via the proper medium.....

 

this is the proper medium, since many people are thinking about ordering the G1P and want to know what the quantities are at all available resellers.

Beats having to email and individually respond to each person, doesn't it?

 

No Eddie's right.... this has nothing to do with individual orders and contacting them...... to be honest, if 1/3 of our advanced orders come this forum, that would be a lot. I just wanted to give people an idea, just so they don't get their hopes up. On top of that, there are people who want to process orders today when there's basically no chance they'll get one before the first week of the year.....

I don't want to give an update like that, but I will if someone else does.

 

I would gladly sit here an update all day long about our g1, a8j, w3j, r1f and any other notebook that is not readily available and in hi demand. I looked at the topic i looked at the posts. I put my little sig in just like justin did. My whole intent was to let people know that this is not subject matter for the forum. Its not. These posts should not be here. How would people like it if all the resellers who frequent the forums made daily announcements of their shipping practices? and on top of that their inventory status, preorder status and whatevers clever? Does nOT belong is the category of this thread.

 

Those V1Js... those from a local supplier or are you importing it yourselves?

My main concern is service from ASUS... if it isn't officially released here in NA, would that mean it would take longer for them to do repairs?

 

They're coming from Asus, but a handful of V1's are coming in, just like the handful of G1's that came in a couple weeks ago..... I'm actually surprised that after the fiasco that caused, that anyone would really want to mention this shipment as another larger one will be coming to port before new years, which should be enough to cover all backorders and have real time stock during the first week of the year.... This just gives some of these last minute Christmas shoppers false hope, which is what we'd all like to keep from happening if we can help it.
