So I was testing Bluetooth audio with my G1 and my boss's bluetooth Bluetake headphones. I paired everything up properly using the drivers included with the preloaded Toshiba bluetooth stack and it worked fine.
Then I tried walking maybe 5 feet from my desk and the signal started cutting out (like on a bad cell phone connect). Then I walked out of the room into one of our conference rooms and it completely cut out. Once I walked back to my desk it came back.
My manager uses these same headphones with a USB bluetooth adapter and can literally walk around our entire floor without any signal fade.
I was wanting to use the internal bluetooth on the Asus as a signal broadcaster to a Wireless music system. Now it appears that the signal strength on the built in bluetooth is far too weak to do this.
Is there any way to improve this via a driver setting?

It may be possible that newer drivers could improve the range.
With the broadcom software, the audio quality on the older versions was much better, but it used to break up every few minutes for a couple of seconds. With the newer software, the break-ups are gone, but the audio sounds slightly worse (very low distortion in the mid/vocal ranges). -
any ideas where to obtain updated drivers? Nothing on the Asus site.
