Not yet, the G1 with the updated processor and OS should arrive in North America by mid March to Early April.

You don't need the updated G1 (coming soon) in order to run Vista Ultimate!

You can get a G1 now with Vista Home Premium and upgrade it's license to Ultimate if you want. But I really don't see any justification to "upgrade" to Ultimate...

    Cheers!

And as a matter of fact, I just "upgraded" mine to the glorious Windows XP Pro!

Vista really sucked on the G1... Games ran really bad under Vista (about 30% loss in performance!)... Under XP Pro I can run games at much better framerates and resolutions!

Note: I really consider Vista a "downgrade" for gamers on the G1. Don't get me wrong, Vista is good for eye candy, but that's it! We'll see once Nvidia releases some really good drivers for the Go 7700 under Vista.
