G1- 3dmark06 benchmarks for you

Here you go, now that I got my system working, here are some benchmarks for 3dmark runing on windowsXP using the stock video drivers on asus home page. Of course, since you can change the speeds for the "optimizer" here are the differences.

this is for the G1P. No one has a G1S yet.

Depends, it maybe only slightly better than this. You'll be running the g1s with Vista and supposedly the vid card, while directx10 compatable, is rumored to be about the nvidia 7600 speeds. Then again, at least the cpu is a bit faster.

 

G1S scores are about double that.

 

Well I wouldn't say double. its a good scoore. about 1K+ points higher. Its also running a 2.2Ghz vs a 2.0Ghz in the G1. But I'm willing to bet it'll run games like C&C3 or Supreme commander similar to the G1 running winxp. Only because the new vid drivers/vista isn't optimized yet. If it was few more months from now when new games come out with Direct X10, then it should really start looking better.
