I have a vista version G1 and the direct messenger OLED light just randomly

blanks out on me and sometimes the screen gets distorted. Any thoughts?

i've tried the new and old version of Direct console, updated Bios, and i did not

use any customized icons. Any thoughts?

any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a G1 with Vista and the messenger has never freaked out on me. I leave it on the default clock display because the messenger/notification features only work with MSN Messenger and Outlook. It's possible that you have the custom settings enabled. What settings are enabled in Direct Console?

even if i left it just as the clock over some random period of time the oled screen gets distorted. i know its a program/driver problem and not the oled itself. because i turned off direct console and the OLED just shows "ASUS" and its been working perfectly.
