    Hey guys,

Got a G1P everything stock except running XP PRO instead of Vista. Past week once or twice a day my system puts itself to sleep in the middle of what i'm doing.

First I thought it was just World of Warcraft because that is when I started noticing it. But now I find it does it outside as well, most recently during running Ubuntu Linux off VM Ware.

Checked power settings and it is set to never go into standby/sleep automatically. No new software has been added recently to account for the problem.

    Thnx for the help,
    Vaath

I would suggest updating or reinstalling the ATK drivers.

Yes, they are the power management drivers. You will find them on your drivers disk, or perhaps updated on support.asus.com.

Hey I somehow managed to miss the last response. My G1P came with Vista but I have XP Pro running. The only ATK drivers I could find on ASUS and all was for Vista 32-bit, where would I go about finding the XP ATK drivers?

http://asusg1s.wikidot.com/installing-windows-xp That link is legendary. Scroll down and you'll find the XP ATK drivers. I have a seemingly perfect XP install from the drivers on this page.

Thanks :) I was unsure if the G1P and G1S XP drivers were the same, will give it a try!
