I know this was brought up before but I was wondering if anyone has a solution to the problem. The problem is that warcraft 3 wouldn't detect the cd unless its right after a reboot and its really starting to annoy me. I remember someone saying that they contacted blizzard about this, any update on that? Also I was wondering if anyone has XP running on their G1S and have WC3 installed having this problem.

I have had the same problem when I first got my G1S and I know how gay it is to reset every time you want to play warcraft. I forgot exactly what I did to fix the problem but I believe it you have to turn off User Access Control (UAC). No idea where to do it but I'm sure you will find it in no time.

Sweet thanks so much, that fixed it. But now how do I get rid of that windows security notification?

Thanks uklappyman, that did the trick.

But thing is that after i leave my laptop on for a couple hours, it'll stop detecting the cd again.

Lol I know this is a super old post. like an entire MONTH OLD!

Anyways I wanted to say I'm experincing this same issue except in Sacred. Also I'm running Windows XP. Has anyone found a fix yet? Besides the UAC because I don't believe XP has UAC.

Well its still not really fixed. I've been trying to ask asus tech support through emails and they they keep saying something about corrupted cd. The thing is this works fine in windows xp.
