    hey ill be using it for gaming and class work so i need to know if i do basic stuff with it (i shouldnt be gaming in class :) )

    is it quiet?

    i guess the same would go with the G1A, if you have one of those it would probably be the same thing.

    Usually, the fan is not in use when doing simple and basic tasks because the processor is usually at its lowest clock. This results in very little heat which means the fans don't go on as much.
