I was trying to run HD Tune on my G1S's internal and external HDs but HD Tune said "No Drives Found".

Is this a problem with all G1S computers or does it have something to do with the Santa Rosa chipset?

Edit: 2.5 works, but 2.53 does not.

It must be a problem with the update, I'll try to run 2.53 on my G1s soon.

HD Tune 2.53 identifies my hard drive fine. Try re-installing the program.

OK, let me go get it.

BTW, I am running Vista and have the Seagate Momentous 160GB.

Nope. I even tried just the stand-alone .exe with no avail.

Edit: Ok, so this is weird. Now 2.5 will not work. Same error.

I am running Vista too, but I still have the standard 160gb Hitachi 5400rpm drive that it comes with.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I also have the same problem with HD Tune, although I have a toshiba machine. I was able to run the test once, but after trying to open the program a second time, I got the "No Drives found" error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also using the standalone version, but it was to no avail.

LiveDesign, did you ever manage to fix this problem?

Make sure you run it as administrator, because when I run it as non admin it says no drives found.
