GPU fried in my G1S and I need to send it out and I want to get rid of everything from my hard drive, problem is that I can't see anything on the screen. I've done some searching and everything just says "reformat" but I'm not sure I'll be able to do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

You could take the hard drive out and put it in an external enclosure. From there, connect the hard drive to any computer via USB and delete or format the drive as you wish.

That's what I did. I happened to have a hard drive enclosure around so I took the HD out of the G1S (very easy, only two screws iirc) and plugged it into the enclosure. Course this was a much larger enclosure, but it still worked. In the past I've forgone the enclosure altogether and just used a SATA cable to plug it into a desktop or another notebook with SATA port.
