    Hi All,

Can the G1S be run with the cover closed? I'm mainly going to use an external monitor and wireless mouse and keyboard and would like to keep the computer otherwise closed. My old Thinkpad had a docking station where you could do this and I'm wondering if the G1S can do the same.

    thanks in advance,

    - Frank

It can, but it's already hot enough as it is, that it's a bad idea to run it closed.

Usually a laptop will run just fine with the cover closed.

However, I will second Lithus and say that you should be cautious with the G1S since it already gets so hot. Monitor your temps for the first few days you keep it closed, see if there is a significant increase.
