    Now that you can get an Gateway with a 17" screen and an 8800 for around 1300, do you think the price of the G1S will drop at all? right now newegg has them for 1499, The G1S has a lot better CPU and LCD but the HP has the 8800 and a bigger hard drive

    if not what hp is that?

    .. and by the way.. no.
    the current g1's might drop a few bucks when the new G1Sn comes out

    You would think it would drop a little, if not then why would anyone buy a G1S, unless they just really wanted a 15"?

    Reason I ask is I was planning on getting a G1S because I like the looks of it and everything but if their not going to drop the price at all I guess ill go for the Gateway
