I bought a G1S from newegg as well as a 2GB stick of Patriot RAM. Does it matter which slot that I place the 2GB stick in and will I have problems with my computer recognizing all 3 GB???

Also if someone knows a link for replacing RAM that would be great too

    Thanks

PS The RAM stick is a Patriot PSD22G6672S

    3GB is no problem :D

32bit Windows will not recgonise 4GB. But 3GB is fine :D

What do you mean by replacing RAM?

take out 1 of his 1GB sticks in the laptop and stick in the patriot one. slot doesn't matter. just pop the compartment open and swap the sticks.
