    G1S Sound wahwah

    Hi,

    Playing music on the G1S is not so good. The volume level seems to fluctuate.

    I've already removed most bloatware (including the Asus Security Manager) & have the 205 BIOS.

    Has anybody else experience this? My 5 year old Tosh laptop plays music much better than this.

    The G1 speakers are crap. It's pretty much noted in every review. If you're a gamer, invest in a good headset.

    So listening to music from the laptop speakers is not possible? That's crazy - what are Asus playing at???

    I just wanted music via Windows Media Player whilst I surfed, without the restriction of a headset - the sound warbles. I could cope with poor speakers, but the warbling makes the speakers unusable.

    dissappointed.

    Yeah and anyone else is doing a good just in the speaker department. They have some great portable speakers, personally waiting for some USB powered ones, but that use the headphone jack.
