Hey everybody! Well Im a little worried with the Speedfan test results I got...

    HD:48C
    Temp1: 66C
    Core0: 41C
    Core1: 41C

Well first Im a newbie with this thing so I dont know what Temp1 exactly means but theres like a fire icon before it and it seems to me that 66C is really high??? Is there a problem?

Also, when I put my hand at the back of the laptop, on the left where the fan is, its not THAT hot but I cant really feel any air blowing, is that normal also?

Apart form this, my G1S is a charm and I have absolutely no problems with is performance-wise or anything! Love it

    Thanks!

The temp1 looks to be the temp of your GPU, since there are already readings for you HD, + 2 cores....

66C is perfectly fine for a GPU.

You really won't have to worry until you are in the 80-90C range...even then, any computer chip should be able to handle up to about 100C before you really need to be concerned.

G1s is known to have high temps for its GPU. If the CPU is at 41C thats pretty good. Mine is usually idling 55C. I believe Temp1 might be your GPU temprature, which is also normal for G1s.

Due to faster graphics memory (GDDR3), G1s usually idles around 65-70C (or atleast mine does). I think you are ok. Try running some games while you have the temp monitor on to see how much temps are increasing for you.

Try using another temp monitoring program like RivaTuner to see what your temps say.

Rivatuner reported ingame temps of 100 degrees before. Thing's still alive.

i don't know what exactly that is for, but does yours change temperature at all? my hd and cores adjust, but my temp1 stays the same as what it was when i start up my computer.

To my understanding, Temp1 is not the temperature of the GPU, you can use NVmonitor to confirm that. I rather think it is the temperature of the motherboard.
