Many computers have issues with 4GB RAM. If you have updated the BIOS to latest, then you have run into hardware limitations and noone can help you there (except perhaps a different brand of RAM... but not even that is sure to work)

As to VgaSave, if you reboot in safe mode you should be able to remove any driver.

    Also check drivercleanerpro.

hmm then 205 bios is reason why i cant have 3gb in XP ??
i have tryed all posible switch combinations with PAE and DEP services and maxmem=2048 is not helping too so it looks like its something wrong with chipset addressing but in vista i have no problem when i have 2x2gb modules in... maybe ill try to downgrade bios... which one u recomend 204 203 ?

    Sorry I was misleading.

You should have the latest BIOS, and only then you should proceed to identify other causes. Latest BIOS is fine.

If it works fine in Vista, then it's an OS problem. Have you tried looking in the WinXP hotfixes database for this situation?

to be onest i have read alot of about resource conflict, its same situation as here http://forum.notebookreview.com/archive/index.php/t-144143.html but as i see this "intel blames micosoft and micrsoft blamesintel" and there is no cooperation between them to solve this situation... i just hoped that someone find solution to this acidentally, same problem i had with asus xp recovery cd's i had to reduce ram to 2gb, and to be onest that was last thing i figured up in act of desperacy ;]

What is "everst"? I want to see what's going on in my OS.
