    If the G1S indeed pulls air up from the bottom of the notebook, then using the thermaltake passively cooling cooling pad would be counterproductive, is that correct?

    There are no intake fans on the bottom.

    Although there is no intake fan on the bottom. But you have to remember, where is the fan at the back getting the air? It's going to be from the vents on the bottom. So I believe using a cooler that blows air onto the bottom will help it.
