Ok, so I put Win7 on and installed all the Asus software from the G1S support site and it's mostly working ok. Only 2 things: The eye light below the track pad stays off. This isn't that big of a deal, but just curious if anyone has fixed that.

The bigger one is the WEI CPU score was 4.8 in Vista 64 and is now 3.8 in Win7. Is this just normal, or is there a problem? Am I missing some motherboard software? I installed the inf for Vista64 off asus support, but it didn't change it any. It doesn't 'feel' slower, but I can't really be sure. Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues. It was originally a G1S, but they replaced the motherboard with a G1Sn model.

Yes the WEI score is normal. Win 7 has a higher score range then Vista so your scores will most likley drop.

I had a G2S and I updated to latest drivers offered for my laptop at the time and the off switch for the pad worked for me.

Ok, just wanted to make sure the score was normal. Does anyone know which driver controls the eye light? I might've missed it. Thanks again.

Actually it's the Touchpad utility, so that's running now after the reboot. Yay!

I guess if anyone has any issues with the G1S/n and Win7 please go here, especially if anyone has WEI CPU score questions.
