    Hi all,

I have a Asus G1S and I have a problem with my blueooth.

When I shutdown my laptop it stalls for like 10 minutes.
It is the bluetooth service that stalls.

I wrote a batch script that kills the service so i can shutdown faster
    Code:
    TASKKILL /F /IM TosBtMng.exe /T
    TASKKILL /F /IM TosBtSrv.exe /T

But this is just a temporary solution.

i installed the latest version of bluetooth => Bluetooth_XP_071205.zip

and i've installed an older version and it is still the same.

I configured XP to shutdown processes when they don't respond but the bluetooth service just stalls.

Has anyone come across this problem or know how this could be resolved?

Toshiba drivers are free for brands toshiba, but for our Asus they give a 30-days-trial.

I had suffered exactly the same problem as yours, and the latest Toshiba Bluetooth driver fixed the problem.

If the latest Bluetooth driver didn’t work, the problem might not be from the Bluetooth. To test it out, disable the Bluetooth, and see whether the problem persists. If the answer is yes, it is for sure the problem is not from the Bluetooth.

Another way to solve the problem is to re-install Windows XP, and use the Toshiba Bluetooth driver.

By the way, there is no 30-days-trial limit for this Toshiba Bluetooth driver. I have been using this driver on my ASUS notebook computer for a few months.
