The black finish on the G1S looks real sharp, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't keep my greasy fingers from marking it up a bit. What's the best way to remove the finger marks from the computer?

Use the special cloth they gave you in the package, or buy a glasses cleaner set with the cloth and use a lens cleaner. Stay away from chemicals that might damage the finish (Windex, bleach alcohol etc). Water and Lens cleaner will do.

That's right, the micro fiber cloth that comes with the laptop is good. You can just plainly wipe it down with the cloth, or put a little bit of water on a corner of the cloth and then clean.

If your kinda cheap like me then you can most likely go to your eye doctor and ask for a cloth and cleaner since most companies give them small sample size bottles to hand out to customers. Just a thought if your getting a checkup soon or something.

Just buy the skin from shieldzone.com. I currently have that on my Asus G1 and I have zero worries about finger marks and scratches. I can put my G1 in my laptop bag with peace of mind and if the skin somehow gets damage I can get another free of charge since it has lifetime warranty. I really recommend it if you are anal about keeping you G1/G1s looking new.

Hey, what exactly does the invisibleSHIELD for the G1/G1S cover? How many pieces are there, and did you find the application of it to be easy without creating air pockets inbetween? And yes, I am damn anal about keeping my G1S looking new. Better believe it.

Clear packaging tape for the fingerprints!!! Even the micro fiber cloth will scratch the finish!

Invisible shield is what I want but @ $40 kinda steep for some clear film...

Decals are in the $25 range but they will have to be cut by hand.
