G1S finish and froo froo

How do you like it? As a teenager who likes cool looking stuff I personally like the flashy personality. At least it's original (Can't say that for that Lambo one or those acer ferrari ones... ). And I love the glass/plastic whatever bezel at the top of the keyboard with the little screen and the wa the powerbuttons are laid out etc. The keyboard feels solid and the touchpad/buttons are superb. The aluminum is a nice touch. Everything feels solid to me! And also, the "carbon fiber" look doesn't look like fake carbon fiber to me. Look at your mouse, that's fake carbon fiber. The computer itself has a much nicer pattern of dots instead of the fake weave. After seeing some dell computers, I'll never complain about the latches...

 

I personally would have loved the G1S to have a better finish. The lights on the side are useless, and the green color theme really doesn't go good with my faeries
Otherwise, I knew all this before I bought it... but still got it anyways. As for the sturdyness of it, it seems sold enough for me. Alot better than the 2nd gen ibook and old dell i used to use

 

haha I like the green... It's different and I like different I guess lol But yeah, I bought it knowing it would be slightly towards the outlandish side finish wise... My mom's powerbook is so... BORING! lol I do like the C90s and V1S for simpler looking laptops, but like some people like the Sager 2090, and from the pics that one is just TOO plain for me.

 

See with me... if its plain... its an empty canvas. Cut some nice vinyl and can really personalize it alot better. With the green I have to choose my designs and colors wisely so it doesn't look odd. Then the carbonfiber look, kinda kills alot of things too. Its still a nice lil machine regardless ^_^
