Has anyone purchased their G1S through ZipZoomFly? How was the experience?

They seem fine (used to be GoogleGear) and their price is pretty unbeatable for this book. And since the warranty is through Asus, it seems like it should be fine...just curious if anyone else has experience with them.

I'm familiar with resellerratings. That's not what I'm looking for and it doesn't really help me.

I'm curious to hear any anecdotes of people's actual experiences with ZZF.com when purchasing a laptop (in particular, the G1S). Resellerratings lumps everything together and you can't tell if the problem might have been with the actual hardware of some other random product unrelated to what I'm looking for.

Maybe I should post in a more general forum...guess I'll give this post a day or so first,

I have only bought small things from ZZF in the past with no real issues when needed customer service. I did get an LCD monitor which was about as high a dollar amount as I was comfortable spending with that kind of online store.
I think they are very similar to Newegg.com ..
What you could do is call them or email them with questions. If you don't get a prompt, courteous answer that makes you feel comfortable, don't buy a high dollar item from them.

Personally, I would only buy expensive things like a computer from a more personal reseller. I used Xotic PC. I like their policies and service was excellent.

I have been a ZZF customer since the GoogleGear days. I have bought many things from them and in fact, last August, I bought my W2JB from them. The price was lower than Newegg, shipping was free and there was no sales tax. They are not as quick in getting stuff to your front door as other sellers. Newegg is insanely prompt with shipping but since I avoided sales tax and shipping, I didn't mind waiting a bit longer. So there you have it, generally speaking I can be considered a very happy ZipZoomFly patron although I have heard that returning items to them can be a tedious process. No worries for me though since I really researched laptops before I made my purchase and my experience with the Asus W2JB has been profoundly positive.
