I raised the speed so the mouse moves faster when using the touchpad. Every time I reboot it goes back to default settings. Not sure what is causing it. Cannot find a setting in synaptics that seems to help. Also logitech setpoint doesn't have any of it's own settings I can find either.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The only solution I found was to uninstall Logitech's Setpoint completely. This was driving me crazy too. Right after I removed the program, my settings were saved.

I didn't find the Setpoint program to be particularly useful...
