Alrite i just got the latest G1s and cant complain... i just had a question as if it is possible to change the keys that are found at the bottom of the comp as well as the top right such as the email and sleep mode keys as well as the multimedia keys... just because i dont want the power button to turn on the multimedia program but instead the media player... and other things...
so is there any asus programs that i skipped over when i did my format or am i stuck with the way they are...
    thanks for any advice

I know what you are asking is possible, but I believe you have to edit the BIOS to do it. I don't know if Asus provides a program for it (I don't know why, but I think I have seen it somewhere).

The battery life is 2.5-3 hours I think.

battery life is on power saving mode i get about 2.5 hours.... it drains it fast because it is an 8600GT and it needs juice!

If you have a .ROM file, there are editors out there for them. Obviously only recommended for very high level users, probably over just about all of our heads (except one or two?) here at NBR. Of course, when I say "edit the bios" I mean, "basically impossible unless you are a Computer Engineer or Linus Torvalds."

Yeah... for myself I wouldn't go into that sort of thing, that's for sure.
