I tried to connect my G1S to a tv to watch a movie at my friend's house. I have an s-video adapter that worked wonderfully on my old Thinkpad. For some reason, however, I cannot get the G1S to output to the TV. I tried the display properties > extend my desktop procedure, but after I would apply the change it would return to the original settings.

I think Multiframe is a multi-monitor program, but it doesn't detect the TV either. Could it be a problem with my machine, or possibly that the G1S needs to use the s-video -> RCA converter that came with the computer?

    Thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

    Thanks

mine works fine. it should auto-detect the new monitor and extend it; at least that's what happens whenever i plug in my s-video cable. maybe your settings are a bit messed up? just unplug the s-video cable and plug it in again and let the computer set it up itself.

I know this is obvious but don't forget to hit the fn / output to monitor button (i think its f8).
