    I just got my G1s-A1 and uninstalled all the bloatware... but now I would like to know what the best performing video driver is to have.

    There is no best, but generally newest is the best place to start.

    169.04 is thet newest.

    I went to Nvidia's site to download it and used their automated detection program to see which graphics card I had and it said I had to download it from ASUS's website.. is this true?

    Do i uninstall my nvidia drivers before i install them? or does it just do it on its own.

    Yes. It is a good practice to uninstall old drivers and reboot the computer before installing the new ones.
