Ok, heres the deal. Everyone in my apartment can get on WoW except myself.

My roommate with an XPS m1710 running Vista gets on as does her boyfriend on a craptop with XP.

I, on the other hand, constantly time out on the various log in parts. I've yet to see the character select screen since I resubbed.

I have no "yellows" in Device Manager. My drivers are fully updated. My direct X is fully updated.

I am missing something here because EVERYTHING else works great.

    It's Verizon FiOS 20/5.

What are you using to connect to the internet? Land-line(RJ45 cable) or wireless? Could also be firewall issue.

Directly connected to the router/modem (It's a dual device) via cat-5. Wireless is the same thing.

Let me bold it for ya mate.

    Aka, I can't connect.

Run as an admin and in xp compatibility. Make sure WOW can pass through your firewall.

    Firewalls disabled. Done all that.

Can someone tell me what device they have listed as their ethernet driver?

Ok, I fixed it by changing my tcp congestion provider to ctcp.
